Romans 12

So here's what I want you to do, God helping you:

Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering.

Embracing what God does for you
is the best thing you can do for him.

Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking.

Instead, fix your attention on God.
You'll be changed from the inside out.

Readily recognize what he wants from you, and
quickly respond to it.

Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

  1. You - or better, God - got it pretty much right on here. I don't think there's a better response to the last blog than this one.

  2. Hey Sarah!
Is Union going better for you now? I really hope so- I want you to know that you're in my prayers and that I think about you and Justin and Garett sooo much! I wish I could be there with you right now! Thank you for this verse- it's one of my favorites and I like what you emphasized. Continue living for God Sarah- I don't understand at all your point of view on missing Africa, but I do know that God works in amazing ways wherever we are- keep living and trucking through! I promise it will get better (okay maybe just when God comes but still!). I love you Sarah!
